TERRE HAUTE — Grace M. McBeth, 85, a former resident of Crawfordsville, died at 8 am. Friday in Union Hospital at Terre Haute. Mrs. McBeth was a member of the First Congregational Church, Order of Eastern Star and Women’s Department Club, and also was a member of the board of trustees of the YMCA. She was born on Jan. 23, 1885, a daughter of George and Carolyn Clossen MacAlister. She was married to William Quinn McBeth, who preceded her in death in 1968. Survivors include a son, William Jr. of Indianapolis; a niece, Mrs. Kent Schneider of LaGrange, Ill., and two grandchildren, William McBeth III of Culver and Mrs. William Cappner of Indianapolis. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 am. Monday at Gillis Memory Chapel in Terre Haute with Revs. George Mitchell and John Drag officiating. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. at the New Richmond Cemetery. - typed by Chris M
